Our Warranty Policy
FIN: guarantee 20 April 2026
We aim to deliver all Columbia branded products including footwear in the quality and with the characteristics as described. In Europe, in the event of a lack of conformity of our products with the product description or the applicable Terms and Conditions (Sale Terms) you are entitled to your statutory rights arising from defective performance which you may exercise against Columbia Sportswear Finland Oy., Keilaranta 11, 02150 Espoo, Finland, registered 2299325-0 with VAT number FI22993250.
The rights arising from defective performance cover defects in materials and workmanship arising from causes inherent at the time of sale in our garments, equipment and footwear manufactured by Columbia Sportswear Company.
You may exercise your rights arising from defective performance in the period of 2 (two) years from the date you have received the product after purchase.
If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, you are entitled to request the repair or the replacement of the product at your own choice and free of charge. Additionally, you may opt for our offer to issue a credit note to the value of the original purchase price instead, or we will issue a credit note if the repair or replacement is not possible.
In addition to the right to request a repair or replacement of the product as described above, you may also be entitled to a reduction in the purchase price, or you may withdraw from the contract, if:
• we fail or refuse to repair the damaged product;
• the same defect occurs repeatedly;
• the defect constitutes a material breach of contract; or
• if it becomes evident from our proclamation towards you or the circumstances of the case that the defect will not be repaired in reasonable time (please see sections 1 and 2 below) or without causing you any significant difficulty.
Please note that you may not withdraw from the contract if the defect in the product is merely minor.
Please note that Columbia is not responsible under the applicable statutory provisions for damages caused by (a) use contrary to the product’s intended purpose or its care label instructions, accidents, or modifications, or (b) natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow product care instructions.
